From June 16 to June 18, Research and Training Center for Community Development (RTCCD) collaborated with Binh Thuan Provincial Center for Disease Control to conduct a training workshop for 20 provincial-level master trainers as part of the EM-THRIVE project implementation.
Binh Thuan is the first province to launch this training at the provincial level. The training was attended by representatives from the Department of Health, the provincial Center for Disease Control, Health Center of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan General Hospital, An Phuoc General Hospital, and the VNVC Vaccination Center.
Over the course of the three-day training, participants studied and practiced delivering 12 topics. The training received positive feedback from the provincial-level staff, which will help improve the program further.
Trainees were divided into groups to practice teaching by topic and all performed competently.
In addition, participating units shared both the advantages and challenges they face in their local areas, and together with RTCCD, they discussed possible solutions to help the program reach more parents in the province.
