Over four days, from March 23 to 26, 2026, the Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD), in collaboration with the Lam Dong Provincial Centre for Disease Control (CDC) (formerly Binh Thuan province), conducted monitoring visits to 22 Commune Health Stations across the province on the implementation of the EM-THRIVE program integrated with the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI).

From the Lam Dong CDC, Dr. Che Ngoc Thach – Deputy Head of the Department of Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention – Parasitology – Entomology, along with departmental staff, participated in the monitoring. From RTCCD, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha – Director of the Centre, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam – Program Coordinator, and project staff joined the delegation.

Monitoring results showed that Commune Health Workers at the stations had proactively implemented the program according to plan, initially maximizing the effectiveness of integration with EPI activities. However, alongside these achievements, some difficulties and limitations remain. The monitoring team directly exchanged and provided feedback to the station staff to draw lessons learned for subsequent implementation.
At the end of the monitoring period, the team acknowledged the efforts of the Commune Health Stations and requested continued improvement in program implementation, as well as timely guidance and resolution of challenges to enhance the effectiveness of EM-THRIVE program activities in the future.
