Description:
This study aims to review the plan of adjusting fees of public healthcare services  in Hanoi submitted to the People’s Committee of Hanoi  by the Hanoi Department of Health last October, 2012. This is also to evaluate the impacts of  increasing the healthcare service fees on Hanoian’ lives and work. Research informants are selected from public healthcare facilities under management of Hanoi Department of Health, and other departments, committees, sectors and healthcare service users/families in 30 districts of Hanoi. The final proposal with guidelines on new healthcare services fees with the objective of ensuring they are both accessible to Hanoian people and adequate to improve the quality of the services is due to submit to the People’s Committee of Hanoi in April, 2013.
