Communications Intern Announcement

Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) as a member of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) is a civil society organization, independent research institution. RTCCD is based in Hanoi and has been in operation since 1996. RTCCD focuses on researches, intervention projects and policy advocacy in fields of health system development, mental health, social works, maternal and child care.

We are currently looking for a communications intern.

Position details and skill requirements are described below.

POSITION: Communications Intern

CONTRACT DURATION: 3 – 6 months with possibility of official extension.

SUPERVISOR: Communications Officer

WORKING SITE: Hanoi and project sites

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist in the production of media materials, publications and articles;
• Assist in website management, social network and forums;
• Assist in office management, schedules and events management;
• Assist in editing, translating Eng-Vie and vice versa;
• Assist and translate for foreign lecturers in training classes and workshops;
• Perform other tasks as required.

WORKING TIME: Part-time/ Full-time

SALARY: N/A

REQUIREMENTS:

• Senior students or graduates majoring in English, journalism, health and other social sciences;
• Good written and spoken skills in both Vietnamese and English;
• Good computer skills (Basic use of graphics applications are desirable);
• Experience and knowledge of the communication, health and child care are advantages;
• Active and enthusiasm in learning.
