From 23–25 December 2025, within the framework of the programme “Promoting the holistic development of children through training in positive parenting skills in five provinces and cities of Vietnam” (EM-THRIVE), jointly developed and implemented by the Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) and Monash University (Australia), the Lam Dong Center for Disease Control organized the 4th training course for Commune Health Workers at the Tan Linh Regional Health Center.
The training course was attended by 46 Commune Health Workers from 23 communes/wards in the Tan Linh area. The course was delivered by two core trainers from Lam Dong Center for Disease Control.
During the three days of training, with the enthusiasm of the trainers and the active participation of the trainees, the class atmosphere was dynamic and engaging. All trainees completed the online learning component before attending the in-person training and actively participated in practical sessions and group activities.
At the end of the course, participants shared their feedback and recognized the practical significance of the programme for the community, especially for children. The Commune Health Workers committed to applying the knowledge and skills gained to support parents and caregivers in caring for and nurturing children more effectively, contributing to Early Childhood Development in their localities.
