The partner meeting of NOREC Exchange Program – Collaboration between Vietnam, Nepal and India

Under the NOREC Exchange Program, a partner meeting was organized from 6th to 7th September 2022 in Vietnam. The meeting have the participation of 3 representative organizations of 3 countries (RTCCD – Vietnam, IRHDTC – Nepal and Mani Trust – India).

The Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec) is a Norwegian government agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mandated to finance the international exchange of persons within the framework of institutional cooperation. The goals of the NOREC Exchange program is sending and receiving young people on work placements between partners in different countries to learn and share knowledge and skills.

The aim of this meeting is to further develop the project application and for the partners to get to know one another better, including each organisation’s financial management systems and routines.

During the meeting, representatives of the organizations took time to introduce their organizations and discuss in detail the proposed writing plan and project implementation plan for NOREC’s apllication. Key results from the meeting:

– Day 1 (6^th Sept): Understanding clearly about 3 organizations (mission, objectives, strategies, action plan, work plan with volunteers, financial management,…)

– Day 2 (7^th Sept): Working together to complete final draft for NOREC’s application

The exchange program is expected to start in July 2023.
