Series of Webinars: Sharing international experiences in Alcohol Harm Prevention

Under the strategy of capacity building for CSOs working on the areas of Alcohol Harm Prevention, RTCCD collaborated with IOGT-NTO Movement Sweden to organise a series of 06 webinars. The series with the topic “Sharing international experiences in alcohol harm prevention” was organized via Zoom Meeting from December 22, 2022, to January 31, 2023.

The series of webinars includes 06 webinars with 6 specific topics related to alcohol harm prevention, namely:

  1. Enhancing multi-stakeholder collaboration in health promotion and alcohol control
  2. Early prevention for children and teenagers from the initiation of tobacco and alcohol use
  3. Update on Alcohol taxation policy in Vietnam
  4. Experience sharing in a community-based approach to alcohol control
  5. WHO’s SAFER and possible ways forward
  6. Countering Alcohol industry interferences

Objectives of the series:

The series of 06 webinars have been successfully achieved in accordance with the set goals, each seminar attracted from 26-41 Vietnamese and international participants for each seminar. Attendees from agencies and organizations include:
