Continuing the series of EM-THRIVE parenting skills training courses for Communal Health Workers (CHWs) at commune and ward levels, the Quang Ninh Provincial Centre for Disease Control (CDC) conducted the sixth training course for CHWs in the Mong Cai area from 04–06 November 2025.
As with previous courses, the sixth cohort covered the same key training components and encouraged CHWs to practice essential techniques in first aid, early childhood development (ECD), and parenting guidance facilitation to ensure they are fully prepared when implementing the program at their Commune Health Stations (CHSs).
All participating CHWs had completed the online course on child care during the first 2,000 days of life on the Early Journey of Life (Hành Trình Đầu Đời) website before attending the in-person training. This ensured that trainees were familiar with the theoretical content, making classroom practice easier and more effective.
