To continue strengthening the capacity of Communal Health Workers (CHWs) across commune and ward levels, the Quang Ninh Provincial Centre for Disease Control (CDC) has successfully implemented six out of eight planned training courses. Building on the success of the previous cohorts, the seventh training course was conducted at the Quang Ninh CDC Hall from 18–20 November 2025, with 38 participants from seven newly consolidated communes and wards.
The training course concluded successfully. Trainers and trainees reviewed and systematized all key knowledge gained during the three days of intensive learning — demonstrating strong energy, commitment, and dedication from CHWs working for the development and well-being of children, the future generation of the country.
As with all previous training cohorts, the Quang Ninh CDC required CHWs to complete the online course on child care during the first 2,000 days of life before attending the in-person training. Participants showed high enthusiasm and responsibility, completing the online modules prior to the start of the three-day face-to-face sessions at the CDC hall.
