Training Content and Practical Activities

Similar to the previous four courses, the fifth training covered the same key modules and encouraged communal-level health workers to practice essential skills such as first aid, nurturing care, and early childhood development.
Participants also practiced mock teaching sessions to prepare for delivering parent education classes at commune health stations.

Strengthening Knowledge through Online Learning

Before joining the in-person training, 100% of participants completed the online course on the “Early Journey of Life” website, focusing on child care during the first 2,000 days of life.

This pre-learning component helped CHWs better understand the theory, making it easier to follow the practical sessions during the in-person training.
