Along with activities in response to the call for Global Mental Health, Research and Training Centre for Community Development in collaboration with Vietnam Medical Association, The Evidence-Based Health Policy Development Advocacy Group (EBHPD) and Institute of Population, Health and Development (IPHAD) organized the seminar “Global Mental Health in Vietnam” in Hanoi on August 4th, 2014.

With technical support from HealthRight international’s consultant, SWPDC conducted training on children exposed to domestic violence for 29 social work practitioners in Hanoi, on June 24, 2014.  Trainers of the training course were Mr. Luke Talikowski, International consultant, and Dr. Nguyễn Trọng An – Deputy Director of RTCCD.

On the morning of July 1st, 2014, the Research and Training Center for Community Development (RTCCD) held a conference to end the project “Women with Deviance Approach in Mental Health Care” at Phu Ly city, Ha Nam Province. This project was sponsored by Canada through the Grand Challenges Canada organization.
