Child Protection inter-country casework intergrated support
RTCCD provide support to inter-country casework refers to (but is not restricted to) cases involving children in care and/or unaccompanied children and/or trafficked children who may potentially be placed with a family member in Vietnam. These cases may require a social work kinship assessment of the proposed family carer and/or post-placement, including welfare visits.

Schemas Training held at Green Pine Clinic
Green Pine Clinic’s psychologists and psychiatrists participated in Schemas training course which lectured by Jacqueline Harter. This psychological theory is applied for personal disorder, chronic depression, and personal matters such as partner and family conflicts.

Cooperating to establish Community Physician major in Vietnam
RTCCD and Tay Bac University signed agreement on cooperating to establish Community Physician major and assisting in training medical workforce in Northern mountainous region for 2015 to 2025.

First period of Saving Brains completed after two years of implementation
The achievement of this research project has contributed greatly to policy advocacy effort towards promoting child development in the early ears (1000 thousand days). After its successful effect, Australia National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has granted this research extended fund for 3 years (from 2016 to 2019) to strengthen its goal of developing sustainable ways to promote and nurture healthy child and brain development in the first 1000 days at scale with lasting impact on human capital in Vietnamese low-resource settings.

RTCCD proposes to amend law on child
For years, The Research and Training Center for Community Development (RTCCD) has been implementing research projects and community-based intervention models on early childhood development (first 1000 days) and enhancing child right protection monitoring system. These efforts aimed at attaining more scientific evidence for the advocacy of developing and improving Child Protection, Care, and Education Law (hereafter referred as Child Law).
