Lam Dong Implements the 4th Training Course for Commune/Ward Health Care Workers

Over three days from December 23 to 25, 2025, within the framework of the programme “Promoting the holistic development of children through training in positive parenting skills in five provinces and cities of Vietnam” (EM-THRIVE), jointly designed and implemented by the Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) and Monash University (Australia), the Lam Dong Center for Disease Control (CDC Lam Dong) organized Training Course No. 4 for commune/ward health care workers at the Tánh Linh Regional Health Center.

The training session was attended by 46 health care workers from 23 communes/wards in the Tánh Linh area, and was delivered by two core trainers from CDC Lam Dong. Over the three-day training, with the enthusiasm of the trainers and the active participation of the trainees, the class was conducted in a lively manner and achieved successful results. One hundred percent of the participants completed the online course prior to attending the training and actively participated in practical exercises.

After the training, all participants shared their reflections on the value that the programme brings to the community, especially to children. The health care workers committed to implementing the programme in their localities, enabling grandparents and parents to acquire useful knowledge to care for children in the most scientific and effective ways.
