Training session in communication monitoring and promotion implementing non-communicable disease policy.

For two days from January 6th to 7th, 2020, Woman Organization and Development at 20 Thuy Khue street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi held a training session in communication monitoring and promotion implementing non-communicable disease policy for Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) and IOGT-NTO Movement Sweden Organization sponsor.

Due to the guiding of Mr. Mai Phan Loi, president of science council as well as Center for media in educating community (MEC) and Mr. Dang Dinh Bach, director of Law & policy of Sustainable Development (LPSD) came up with 5 issues about advocacy communication goal including 03 Tobacco themes, 01 Environment pollution themes and 01 “first journey of life” (especially “1000 first day of life”)

Research and Training Center for Community Development Organization (RTCCD) with the presence of:

−   Master. Dr. Nguyen Trong An – Assistant director of RTCCD Organization.

−   Project Officer NCDs-VN Alliance Nguyen Hong Hanh (Advocacy policy to increase tobacco tax theme)

• The service development team of RTCCD: Le Nam, Luu Hoang Anh, Le Dinh Sinh (Advocacy Decree 09 about micronutrient supplementation mandatory in food theme)

The training session happened in an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere. Employees of RTCCD made use of all the knowledge from two days learning to come up with the most suitable solution for the remaining problem. In and after the training, employees of RTCCD were praised for their awareness, presentation, debate, and plan to make ability. Moreover, the experts gave considerable advice to trainees in order to improve their skills.

Even when it came to an end, all the trainees were still giving energy to the training. Although every group had one different theme, the knowledge that they gained from teachers and friends would be the strong foundation for RTCCD’s employees to apply in reality.
